Bad medicine: SHO gets notice on pet’s murder case
I gave him Rs10,000 after which he got annoyed and administered five injections and a drip to the cat
LAHORE:
Lahore High Court issued a notice to the Nawab Town SHO on Thursday on a plea seeking an FIR against a vet who allegedly killed the petitioner’s cat. Dr Atia Masood, an assistant professor at the Punjab University, said “On January 18, my cat fell sick so I called Dr Anees who demanded Rs25,000. I gave him Rs10,000 after which he got annoyed and administered five injections and a drip to the cat, after which the cat died. Then Anees ran away.”
