PESHAWAR: Minister for Finance Muzaffar Said has vowed to cooperate with the UN Habitat to establish an integrated resource recovery centre to deal with sanitation problems in the city. This was stated in a handout issued on Tuesday. Said addressed a team of experts from UN Habitat at the Civil Secretariat in the provincial capital and said the country manager of UN Habitat plans to establish the centre and streamline waste management in the city. “The centre will focus on solid waste management, behavioural change, community mobilisation and recycling,” read the handout.
