Upgrades: SU regularises 72 contract employees

VC says regularisation of the employees was their right

JAMSHORO: University of Sindh vice-chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Abida Taherani regularised 72 contract employees from different departments, in basic pay scale (BPS) grades two to five on Monday. According to the press release, Taherani had ordered the authorities to regularise all those employees recruited under the contract appointment policy in BPS grades two to five and those who had completed their two years of services at the university. Six employees had been regularised in grade five, two in grade four and the rest in grade two. The VC said that the regularisation of the employees was their right, which they have been given.
