Staying dry: PDMA issues flood warning

The irrigation department has also issued a report regarding the flow of water of the river at various places

PESHAWAR:


The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) on Saturday issued a medium-level flood warning in Kabul River at Nowshera and Warsak.


A PDMA official said the meteorological department has predicted widespread rain with thunderstorms across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The irrigation department has also issued a report regarding the flow of water of the river at various places. According to the report, the flow in Kabul River is 54,071 cusecs near Warsak, 102,800 cusecs at Nowshera, 10,469 cusecs at Kalpani stream and 32,378 cusecs in Baghdada, Mardan.
