NAWABSHAH: Citizens protested against the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) for prolonged power outages during Ramazan on Friday. The protesters blocked the main road that leads to town’s market area and set tyres on fire. The residents from Manuabad, Aisarpura, Pak Colony, Dolat Colony, Khairshah Colony, Mehran Colony and other parts of the city organized the rally and staged sit-ins on the main road, shouting slogans against power outages. The protesters demanded that government take notice of this negligence by Hesco officials and resolve the issue of load-shedding as quickly as possible.
