QUETTA: At least six people, including a former commander of a banned organization were gunned down by unknown armed men in Nasirabad area of Turbat district on Friday.
Masked men on motorcycles intercepted a vehicle carrying the six individuals and shot them dead.

Assistant Commissioner Hassan Jan confirmed the incident and said that the incident was the result of a dispute between two groups in the area.
“The six individuals were in their vehicle when unknown masked men armed with sophisticated weapons fired at them in Nasirabad,” Jan said.

According to sources in the Balochistan Levies, the six individuals had all parted ways with the banned organization.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to a government hospital where they were identified as former commander Fazal Hadir, his brother Ubaid, gunmen Bahar, Waheed and Haroon. A sixth body could not be identified.
Three bodies found
The bullet riddled bodies of three men were discovered in Hosap area of Turbar district on Friday.
Balochistan Leveis official Abdul Qadeer said that they received information about the bodies from a passerby, adding that they rushed to the spot soon after and cordoned off the area.
“The victims were shot in head and chest respectively ensuring their instant death,” Qadeer added.

While the bodies could not be identified immediately, law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation into the incident.
The bodies have been kept at a hospital morgue.
“They look like local Baloch and it is likely that the residents of the area will soon identify them,” he said.
