An Indian schoolgirl on Monday beat up her alleged stalker at a police station in India as policemen looked on.

Sanjana, a grade 11 student, repeatedly slapped her alleged stalker and also hit him with her shoe, after which she demanded that he bow at her feet. She said the man had been stalking her and swearing at her in the street.

wb | 9 years ago | Reply This is a grand example of how pathetic, wretched, retching, disastrous, massive-titanic-gigantic failure our police system is. This is just sad. This is pathetic that a girl is allowed to thrash a boy in front of police, even if he's a murderer or a rapist. What's sadder? That the system did not protect the girl in the first place. That the girl had to resort to extreme measures. This proves my point that India is a fifth world country. A slum of a billion plus. A landfill of slumdwellers. I'm referring to all of us. Some of us literally live in slums, the rest of us look at slums and do nothing and some of us have slum mentality. I know, because I live in it.
