Girl asks for an Elsa birthday cake but gets a nightmare creation instead

Family ordered a 'princess' cake and expected a likeness of the beautiful character but instead got this surprise

A family ordered a special cake, one decorated with the likeness of the beautiful Princess Elsa, the beloved character from the wildly popular kids' musical movie Frozen, expecting it to look like the cartoon character with the huge blue eyes and golden hair, reported Mirror.

But what they got in return was a real horror.

In a post which has gone viral on Reddit by user OfficialBigHead, an image was posted of the cake they expected and the one they got.

The side by side picture shows was posted with the simple tag "The cake that was ordered and the cake that arrived."



To the left is the desired product, deftly fashioned and pictured on the cake decorating tips website McGreevy Cakes.

To the right is the cake which was delivered, from an unnamed cake maker.

The princess seems to have aged a decade (or two), her skin shade is more fake tan than milky white and her pert nose appears lumpy and large.

The Reddit post drew almost 2,000 comments in hours, almost all seeing the funny side.

ViciousPuddin, said: "The sad thing is, as horrific as it looks, someone put serious time into making that cake.

"Every misshapen blob, every terrifying curve and flourish. There are hours and hours of terrible craftsmanship here."

Another user, said: "Everything neck down looks fine honestly. Neck up... yikes."

Let's hope the cake tasted better than it looked, and the children at the party didn't need too much counselling.
