ISLAMABAD: In a week when a number of senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) members in Punjab jumped ship to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the party has received the good news that its former foreign minister has decided to stay put.

Former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar, and her father Ghulam Rabbani Khar, stalwarts of the PPP from south Punjab, have decided to stay with the party.
