The reigning Khans of Bollywood, Shah Rukh and Salman, will clash at the box office next year with Raees and Sultan releasing on Eid, but SRK claims neither him nor Salman consider it to be a clash as they're both friends, reported IndiaToday

"We have now become friends, so we will do everything together. For you all it is clash, but not for us. We both are going to do well then. There might be a business clash but there will be equal profit for us," Shah Rukh said at an event.

He added, "There are 365 days in a year and 54 Fridays so clashes are bound to happen."

It seems those days of continuous heated arguments when Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were at loggerheads are certainly gone.

Directed by Rahul Dholakia, Raees, an action-thriller, features SRK opposite our very own Mahira Khan along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Salman's Sultan will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra while hunt for its female lead is still on.

Ali Abbas Zafar has already headed to Punjab to kick-start Sultan's journey. While Shah Rukh Khan has wrapped up the first schedule of Raees.

However, this is not the first time that the two Khans will clash at the box office. In 2006, Shah Rukh's Don and Salman's Jaan-E-Mann had released around the same time. While Don was a hit, the latter failed to create magic at the box office.

Over the years, Shah Rukh and Salman have warmed up to each other. The two not just hugged at an iftar party a couple of years ago but SRK also came to Salman's sister Arpita's wedding.

Now they are often seen appreciating each other. SRK even unveiled the teaser poster of Salman's Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Twitter. "I liked the poster so I promoted it. I liked Salman's lips on the poster and he is looking very cool. I saw the trailer, I liked it as well," he said.

At the Bajrangi Bhaijaan trailer launch, Salman had thanked King Khan and Aamir Khan (who too had tweeted Salman's poster) for their support.

"I loved what they did for me; Lots of love and respect to them. It's because of Aamir and Shah Rukh that our film has got eyeballs, extra interest. They are my buddy brothers," Salman had said.
