Lahore High Court on Thursday sought details of the plots distributed by the then Punjab chief minister Nawaz Sharif in 1988. The court directed the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to submit details of the plots at the next hearing, July 28. Earlier, an LDA official stated that they were collecting records of the plots allotted by the then chief minister and would soon submit it before the court. Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan remarked that record was preserved all over the world, but not in Pakistan.
He said apparently the LDA was not fulfilling its responsibilities. The court was holding proceedings on a petition filed by Noshab A Khan.
