Mastermind held: Agency arrests target killer in Quetta

QUETTA: An intelligence agency has arrested a target killer from the upscale locality of Satellite Town in Quetta on Wednesday. “Acting on a tip-off the sleuths of the intelligence agency raided a house in Satellite Town and arrested a target killer working for a defunct organisation,” a source in security forces said. “During the interrogation the accused confessed to killing dozens of police officers, security personnel and settlers in Quetta in the past four years,” the source said. The name of the serial killer has not been disclosed. “Initial investigation suggests that the accused killed selected people on dictations of someone living in a foreign country and got payments in his international bank account,” the source added. Having arrested the mastermind, law enforcement agencies were now conducting raids to arrest other members of the network, the source said.
