Metro bus: American diplomats go for a ride

Abbasi briefed diplomats on details of the project and facilities provided to passengers

RAWALPINDI: US Embassy Economic Affairs Counsellor Daniela Ballarad and some other officials of the embassy took a ride of the Metro Bus Service from Pak Secretariat to Saddar, Rawalpindi on Wednesday. Pakistan Metro Bus Project Implementation Committee Chairman Hanif Abbasi and Rawalpindi Commissioner Zahid Saeed also accompanied the diplomats, said a press release by the Punjab government. Abbasi briefed diplomats on details of the project and facilities provided to passengers. Ballarad said the bus is really an international standard mass transit system equipped with all modern facilities and she experienced pleasure and happiness while travelling on it.
