Nabbed: CTD arrests alleged extortionist
The SIM which was used to call the complainant was also recovered from his possession

The counter-terrorism department (CTD) has arrested an alleged extortionist from the city. According to a statement issued by the CTD on Tuesday, Haji Lal Sher, a local trader, had filed a complaint with the police, saying some unidentified people were demanding Rs5million in extortion from him. CTD and the police conducted a detailed investigation into the matter and traced the whereabouts of the extortionist. Misbahullah, a resident of Bakhshi Pul, was arrested from his house. The SIM which was used to call the complainant was also recovered from his possession. The statement added he was shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
