NBP launches remittance service
The remittance is immediately available in Pakistan for collection at any of NBP’s more than 1,360 branches nationwide
KARACHI:
Keeping in mind the importance of global home remittance in the economic growth of Pakistan, NBP has launched ‘NBP Foree Cash’, allowing remitters to visit any NBP’s overseas correspondent banks/exchange companies and send remittance free of charge. The remittance is immediately available in Pakistan for collection at any of NBP’s more than 1,360 branches nationwide without having the need to maintain an account. Meanwhile, NBP’s “Foree Transfer” remittance service provides equal convenience, security, reliability for beneficiaries having accounts in Pakistan. The convenience is aimed to discourage the use of illegal Hawala/Hundi channel.
