HYDERABAD: Two young men drowned in River Indus, downstream of the Kotri Barrage while they were swimming on Monday. The deceased, Fayaz Ahmed Memon and Roshan Ali Tunio, were residents of Khairpur and Kotri and studied at Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad campus. In another incident, an unidentified 20-year-old man drowned in a water channel in Tando Hyder town in Hyderabad. At least 11 deaths have occurred in Hyderabad and Jamshoro due to drowning in a week.
