Ramazan shopping : AJK govt to target hoarders

MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government has directed district administrations to ensure implementation of official rate lists and take measures to check profiteering and hoarding during Ramazan. The government has also set up Ramazan bazaars in all districts wherein kitchen items are available on subsidised rates. In Mirpur, a Ramazan bazaar has been set up outside the Mirpur cricket stadium. Mirpur Assistant Commissioner Raja Qaiser Aurangzeb said the administration had taken effective steps to check price hike during Ramazan. He added that vendors at Ramazan Bazaars have been bound to display rate lists.
