According to Indian Express, the little star sharing the screen with bhaijaan is Harshali Malhotra. The young star is not new to the industry. She first appeared in a TV show Laut Aao Trisha in which she played daughter of Bhagyashree, the actress who made her debut opposite Salman Khan way back in 1989 in Maine Pyar Kiya.
Harshali also appeared in TV commercials before she was cast in Bajrangi Bhaijaan. This is her big break with megastars Kareena Kapoor and Salman Khan and she already seems to have seeped into the hearts of millions just with the release of the trailer.
Kareena Kapoor is very impressed with the little actress. “Harshali is amazing and director Kabir Khan might have had a daunting task to find someone as talented as her. She is a wonderful actress,” said Bebo.
She believes that Harshali is the real star of the movie and ‘also a diva’. “When she didn’t want to shoot for 2-3 hours, we wouldn’t shoot. With kids, it’s anyway difficult to shoot. I think she will be the real star of the film. Her performance is amazing and she is the most important part of the film,” said Kareena Kapoor.
Since the movie is centered on Pawan (Salman) getting Munni (Harshali) home, both have most of the scenes together. Salman Khan may have spent nearly 30 years in Bollywood building a reputation of one of the most commercially successful actors but the superstar says he still throws tantrums at this age and when he sees Harshali doing the same he feels delighted to be working with her.
"She is so beautiful... a delight to work with. She is unbelievable. She did throw tantrums (but since) she is small so it's OK. I throw tantrums at this age," the 49-year-old star said at the trailer launch of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, as reported by Times of India.
