Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri would arrive in the city on June 29, PAT Supreme Council chairman Hassan Mohiyuddin Qadri told a meeting at the party’s Model Town secretariat on Saturday.
He said Qadri would leave London on June 28 and reach Lahore the next day via Dubai.
The members criticised the government for unannounced load shedding. They demanded that the prime minister remove the power and water minister for failing to provide relief to the common man during the month of Ramazan.
PAT president Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi said the government should stop fooling people by claiming to have cut the duration of load shedding.
He said the people wanted to know the fate of various power projects, including the Nandipur Power Project and the Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park power project.
