At least two people were killed in separate incidents in Bannu district. According to a police report, Sharifullah, who hailed from Bahawal Khojri village and was wanted in a murder case, was allegedly gunned down by his opponents in the jurisdiction of Mundan police station. The assailants managed to flee after committing the crime. They have been identified as Hayatullah and Salim Khan. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is under way. In a separate incident, a man identified as Sanam Gul was also shot dead allegedly by Sabir Khan and Mushtaq Khan on Kaki Road. The assailants managed to flee after the incident. Cases have been registered against them.
