HYDERABAD: Jamaatud Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed prophesied a deepening of fissures in the Indian federation with the ultraconservative Hindu political party remaining at the saddle. “The [secessionist] movements have become stronger in Assam, Misoram, Manipur, Chattisgarh and Nagaland. Sikhs will also rise up,” he said at his annual Ramazan address in Hyderabad on Friday. He also called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘mobster’, whose acts and language speak volumes of his personality. “He admitted in Dhaka that India supported the creation of Mukti Bahini,” he said, lambasting him for still being a prisoner to his anti-Muslim psyche.
