Firing incident: Four killed, six injured

According to the police, unidentified assailants opened fire on Muhammad Yousuf and his two sons

MANSEHRA: Four people were killed while six others were injured during firing outside a mosque in Darband village, Mansehra on Friday. According to the police, unidentified assailants opened fire on Muhammad Yousuf and his two sons, Shiraz and Ejaz, and another individual identified as Younas as they were leaving the mosque. Six people—Shahid, Pervez, Liaqat, Jehanzeb, Niaz and Samina Bibi—were also injured during the indiscriminate firing. The injured and deceased were initially taken to a nearby hospital. However, the wounded were subsequently shifted to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital and three of them are in critical condition. Although the assailants were not identified till the filing of this report, the police believe the incident was triggered by a family feud. No FIR was registered.
