RAWALPINDI:
The Rawal Town municipal administration has issued final notices to owners of 190 highly dangerous buildings asking them to vacate them for their immediate restoration before the advent of monsoon rains. The administration had also declared 149 residential buildings in Rawalpindi city as highly dangerous and directed residents to vacate them before they could be demolished or repaired. Interestingly, owners of only 20 buildings either vacated or demolished their structures but the rest did not respond to the notices.
