Air strikes kill 20 terrorists in Khyber Agency

18 terrorists were also injured during the strikes

KHYBER AGENCY: Twenty terrorists including some of their 'important' commanders were killed in precise aerial strikes in the remote areas of Khyber Agency on Friday, ISPR said in a statement.

Further, there were also reports of about 18 terrorists who were injured in the strikes.

The strikes come days after 20 suspected militants were killed in North Waziristan Agency near the Pak-Afghan border last week.

As security forces conducted the strikes, 20 suspected militants were confirmed dead while several hideouts were also destroyed.

The deeply forested areas near the border are a key smuggling route between Pakistan and Afghanistan, and are dotted with Taliban bases, used as launch pads for attacks on Pakistani forces.

Who confirmed these reports? Where is the oversight over these agencies to prove that agencies are in fact acting lawfully and honestly?

Open your mind and eyes don't make the habit to criticize our forces, its really difficult to sacrifice life for country while others enjoying their lives and criticizing our brave forces.

hamza khan | 9 years ago | Reply @Jalal pls dont show your ignorance. these criminals are being supported by foreign hostile intel agencies. they're movements are monitored through strict ISR and signals intelligence, their locations pinpointed with human intel, and then they are taken out with air strikes. using ground troops in certain situations is not feasible. this is not disneyland we are talking about. its some of the most inhospitable terrain and getting troops up there would take time, cost money and you would likely lose the location of the people you are trying to take out.
