BISE Bannu announces results during a ceremony

BANNU: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu announced the 2015 secondary school certificate results at a ceremony held at the board’s main hall on Thursday.

The board controller in the district, Haider Zaman Khan, shared result statistics during his address. Education board secretary Raj Muhammad Khan and BISE Swat Chairman Abdur Raheem Khan were also present on the occasion along with a large number of parents and schoolteachers.

Grade nine

Haider said as many as 16,009 ninth grade science students appeared in the examinations and 13,898 passed. “5,577 arts students took the exams and only 3,103 managed to succeed,” he said.

Grade ten

He added 15,438 science students sat the 10th grade exams and a total of 14,434 passed. Meanwhile, 7,021 arts students appeared for papers and 5,351 passed. Hazrat Bilal, a student of Faiz Model School, Lakki Marwat, secured 1,022 marks out of 1,150 and came first amongst tenth grade science students. Akram Khan Durrani College Bannu’s Shah Abdul Latif secured second place with 1,018 marks while Syeda Shafeeq Shah of Panel High School Bannu and Rida Bibi of Army Public School and College Bannu jointly stood third with 1,017 marks.

During his address, Raj expressed satisfaction over the result and said,”Hard work never goes to waste.” He congratulated all position holders and said parents played a pivotal role in the success of their children. “It is the effort of the BISE officials that the procedure has been completed on time.”
