Forged cnics: K-P police book over 1,000 cases
Majority of cases registered in Peshawar, Mardan and Malakand regions
PESHAWAR:
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has registered 1,171 cases against individuals for forging CNICs documents and those who attested and verified fake documents, a police statement issued here on Wednesday. K-P Inspector General police has also directed all the regional and district police chiefs for a crackdown against all those involved in forging CNICs. It was said that after authentic reports from NADRA and due verification from Special Branch arrest have been made of individuals involved in processing fake CNICs and wrong verifications. Majority of cases were registered in Peshawar, Mardan and Malakand regions.
