ISLAMABAD: Clarifying his position, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said the controversial statement – “a strike is called in Karachi even when a fly dies” – was made by someone else and was wrongly attributed to him. The controversial comment had drawn sharp criticism from opposition, with MQM chief Altaf Hussain demanding an apology from the premier and cautioning him to be “careful in choosing his words”.
