PESHAWAR: Awami National Party Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Amir Haider Khan Hoti has directed the party’s district office-bearers to compile lists of those defying party policy so appropriate action can be taken against them. According to a statement issued from Bacha Khan Markaz on Tuesday, Hoti has called on party leaders to identify those who are working against the party’s interests and spirit. ANP K-P Spokesperson Sardar Hussain Babak said the ANP is an organised political force adding the party’s performance in the local government elections speaks for its popularity. “Had the government not rigged polls, we would have done even better,” the statement quoted Babak as saying. The leader said ANP will ensure transparency and accountability amongst its ranks and will not tolerate deviance from Bacha Khan’s philosophy.
