KARACHI: A delegation of German investors, led by Deputy Foreign Minister Stephan Steinlein, called on former president Asif Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Bilawal House. At the meeting ideas were exchanged about the investment prospects in Sindh. Asif Zardari pointed out investment opportunities in coal, wind and solar energy sectors. Germany uses coal as a main source of electricity as almost 45% of its energy needs are met through coal. Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, German Ambassador Dr Cyrill Nunn and PPPP vice president Sherry Rehman were also present on the occasion. Separately, Asif Zardari has directed the district presidents of PPP to invite Peoples Youth Organisation (PY0) office-bearers to meetings and take them on board in local decision making. PYO office-bearers may also be taken into confidence during the local government elections process.
