A 14-member Chinese delegation of Kashgar visited the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) led by Deputy Commissioner Kashgar Administration Chen Zhijiang. The visit was meant to explore collaborations with Pakistani counterparts in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Speaking at the occasion, Chen said that the CPEC has laid the foundation of developing a long-term partnership and this flagship project would create plenty of business and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs of both sides.
He said the 3,000-km mega project would connect Gwadar and Kashgar through a network of roads and railways links and would open up new windows of business opportunities for both countries.
He stressed that businessmen of Pakistan and China should get ready to take full advantage of CPEC.
