Untimely Demise: Four killed in separate incidents

Three of the incidents related to targeted killings

CHARSADDA: At least four people lost their lives in separate incidents in various parts of Charsadda district. Police said Lubna, the daughter of Najibullah, reportedly committed suicide by killing herself with a gun. It was said domestic problems drove Lubna to take her own life. In Battagram, Haji Rustam Khan was shot dead by unidentified people. His body was recovered from a field. Meanwhile, in Utmanzai, unidentified assailants opened fire at a rickshaw. As a result, Mathar Shah died on the spot while Bashir Rahman, the driver, suffered injuries. Separately, Fazal Elahi, a trader, was shot dead by unidentified people in Utmanzai bazaar. Charsadda police registered cases against all four incidents.
