The talented Pakistani musician Usman Riaz, announced on Facebook that he will be tying the knot with his best friend Mariam.

The young artiste, known for his extraordinary music talents did not reveal much about the wedding or to-be-wife in the post but he posted a picture of the two beaming and laughing.

In April he posted a picture with her at Regent’s Park, and when people inquired about the girl, he had no reservations telling them that ‘she is my fiancé’.

He was named the youngest ever TED senior fellow in 2014. He performed for the first time on the stage of TEDGlobal 2012, after one of his video Fire Fly caught the attention of TED curator Chirs Anderson.

Born in Karachi, he was trained in piano at the early age of six. Later, he taught himself percussive guitar, a style that relies on a sharp striking of both the strings and guitar’s body—as well as harmonica, mandolin, harmonium, and percussion through the Internet due to the scarcity of music teachers in Pakistan.

The multi-instrumentalist and filmmaker also writes and directs short films to compliment his compositions. He had also painted the cover of his music album Circus in the Sky.

Usman is currently a student at Berklee College of Music pursuing a dual major in composition and performance.

    Best of luck.
He is so young and damn talented guitarist. PK have guitarists of international standards. One more talent (in making).
    Respect. Appreciable.

Usman, get a hair-cut please -either have very short hairstyle or long “guitarist” style – but get rid of these shitty Bollywood likewise hair.Recommend
