Heist: Armed men rob jewellery store

MULTAN: Five armed men riding motorbikes looted a jewellery store near Chowk Shah Abbas and fled with gold worth millions of rupees on Monday. A police spokesman said the men, wearing masks, broke into the shop and held up customers and salesmen. He said they broke display cases and took away jewellery. He said when Faisal and Fahad, salesmen at the shop, resisted, the robbers shot them and fled. The injured were taken to a hospital where doctors said their condition was stable. Qutabpur police have registered an FIR against and formed a team to start investigation.
