Soch set for more film music

IIFA-nominated band composed four songs for ‘Dekh Magar Pyar Say’

KARACHI: After announcing the release of Dekh Magar Pyaar Say, the producers of the film unveiled that Pakistani band Soch will feature on the soundtrack of the film. The band has produced four tracks for the film, stated a press release.

The band is on an unprecedented high right now with their song Awari (from Ek Villain) being nominated in the ‘Best Music Direction’ category at the IIFA Awards. The band has previously been nominated at the Life Ok Screen Award, Brittania Filmfare Award and GIMA Awards.

Regarding their collaboration with the band director Asadul Haq and film-producer Ali Murtaza said, “The IIFA nomination for Best Music Direction is a great milestone for the super talented Soch and another feather in the band’s already well-feathered cap! It is also a testament of the potential and talent we have in Pakistan.”

They added that, “We had the pleasure of working with Soch on Dekh Magar Pyaar Say and can testify the talent and versatility of the group. Not only did they understand the aural aesthetics that we had envisioned for the film’s soundtrack but their contributions have truly buoyed the overall cinematic appeal of Dekh Magar Pyaar Say.”

The film which is expected to release on August 14 features Humaima Malick alongside debutant Sikander Rizvi.
