
An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a murder case.
According to the prosecution, Asghar Ali had murdered Razia Bibi over a family dispute in 2011. The judge also fined him Rs300,000. He will have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment in case of non-payment of fine. The court acquitted Muhammad Aslam, Sarwar Bibi and Jahangir from the case giving them the benefit of doubt.
