As reported by The Telegraph, after Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair photoshoot by Annie Leibovits where she unveiled her surgically acquired feminine persona and new name, two American roommates Crystal Fraiser and Jenn Dolari started a hashtag on Twitter encouraging the trans community to create their own version of Caitlyn Jenner’s magazine photoshoot and personalized it by putting their names on it.

The pair’s message on Tumblr goes:
"A lot of people have explained it better than me recently, but a large contingent of the trans community has engaged in a lot of dialogue the past few days, ever since Vanity Fair announced their Caitlyn Jenner’s cover story, most of which revolves around the idea that the world only seems to embrace us if we’re wealthy enough or lucky enough to adhere to white, cisnormative beauty standards," wrote the two roommates.

"I’ve felt frustrated and useless and overwhelmed by opinions on transgender women and how we’re “supposed” to look if we want to be taken seriously," they added.
"But not all of us adhere to those standards. Not all of us want to. Not all of us can. Some of us do, but only out of fear. Some of us do but we aren’t sure why. And whether we fit those standards or not, we’re beautiful, and we all deserve to feel beautiful, and be acknowledged by the world. Admiration and praise for trans women shouldn’t only come if we fit a narrow definition of beauty. As a good friend of mine said Monday ‘Where’s my Vanity Fair cover?’' questioned the two.
Frasier then posted her version of the Vanity Fair cover that said Call me Crystal and invited others like her to do the same.

Fraiser’s template went viral in no time and became so popular that Dolari and Frasier have set up a new Tumblr to entertain the growing number of responses, writing:
‘This is a trans pride blog made to showcase the wonderful variety that exists within the transgender community above and beyond what we're shown in the mainstream media.’

The template is designed to show the many faces of trans community on social media by creating a customized version of Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair photoshoot under the hashtag #MyVanityFairCover
According to Time Caitlyn, who owned Google this week with 10 million searches, seven times more than step-daughter Kim Kardashian, is becoming the most prominent trans gender woman.
Along with the Vanity Fair cover, the former athlete is also starring in an upcoming reality show on E! called I Am Cait.
