Chairman Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) Lin Zuoming assured his all-out support to enhance the capabilities of JF-17 aircraft, Radio Pakistan reported.

Chief of Air Staff Marshal Sohail Aman, during his visit to the Headquarters of Aviation Industry Corporation of China, expressed his satisfaction over the JF-17 programme.

The programme was also deemed by the marshal as a symbol of the Pak-China friendship.

It was announced earlier during the year that China would deliver another fifty JF-17 Thunder fighters to Pakistan over a period of three years.

During a recent visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Pakistan, it was also asserted by both sides that the jets were a symbol of friendship.

The close friendship has come under scrutiny by India who have termed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) 'unacceptable'.

This vocal opposition lends credence to Islamabad’s claims that New Delhi is fomenting unrest in Balochistan in a bid to sabotage the project described as ‘game changer’ for the region.

Read Indian Auditor General's report on state of India's airforce fleet and you will know your auqaat.
