763rd Anniversary: Lal Shahbaz’s urs starts today

HYDERABAD: The 763rd urs celebrations of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (RA) will formally commence in Sehwan today, June 6. Tens of thousands of devotees, mostly from Sindh and Punjab, will gather at the small town during the three-day event. The police have been asked to ensure foolproof security during the urs and Sindh IG Ghulam Haider Jamali also ordered on Friday the establishment of additional security checks on the entry and exit points of the province.
