Heroic Effort: Christian boys laid to rest

FAISALABAD: Two Christian boys, who had drowned in River Chenab on Monday while trying to save two people from drowning, were buried at their ancestral graveyard in Chota Sher Singh Wala in Faisalabad. Pastor Nasir Iqbal led the funeral for Qalib Ghauri and Vikki. He said the youths had shown that the hearts of believing Christians were filled with love for humanity. He said Ghauri and Vikki were standing by the river in Chiniot when they spotted Farah and her cousin who were drowning. He said the boys jumped in the river and rescued them. He said the boys had drowned in the effort. He said the boys were heroes and their bravery should not be forgotten.
