LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of a petition against foreign tours of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Barrister Javed Iqbal Jafree, the petitioner, argued that the prime minister had been undertaking unnecessary foreign tours along with his family, which put an undue burden on the public exchequer. “The names of PM and his family members should be placed on Exit Control List to stop them from misusing public money,” he said. He requested the court to ban the PM from foreign tours and summon details of the expenditures made on the tours so far. The court asked the lawyer to come up with more arguments.
