Close call: Political moharar escapes attack

A political moharar was on his way to Shakai Bazaar and had reached Newai Kot when the explosion occurred

DI KHAN: An official of the political administration escaped a roadside bomb blast on Wednesday in Shakai area of Wana, a subdivision of South Waziristan Agency, a political administration official told The Express Tribune. According to the official, Muhammad Zoman, a political moharar, was on his way to Shakai Bazaar and had reached Newai Kot when the explosion occurred. Although Zoman escaped unhurt, his car was damaged in the blast. Earlier on Monday, three persons, including a political moharar, were killed in a roadside blast in Wana. The late administration official, Farooq Khan, was travelling from his hometown Raghzai to Wana Bazaar when the explosion occurred at Wana-Angoor Adda Road.
