KARACHI: Pakistan's Test squad was announced on Wednesday with Ahmed Shehzad making a comeback into the Test squad after being dropped from the series against Bangladesh post-World Cup, reported Express News.

Shehzad last appeared in a Test against New Zealand in 2014 where he scored 176.

With Misbahul Haq leading the side and Azhar Ali appointed as vice-captain, left-hand batsman Shan Masood was the only new face to make his way into the team.

Moreover, off-spinner Saeed Ajmal was not able to find his way into the squad with his remodeled actions as Pakistan relied on the duo of Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar to handle the spin squadron.

Squad

Misbahul Haq (C), Azhar Ali (VC), Ahmed Shehzad, Muhammad Hafeez, Shan Masood, Younis Khan, Sarfraz Ahmed. Asad Shafiq, Wahab Riaz, Ehsan Adil, Haris Sohail, Imran Khan, Yasir Shah, Zulfiqar Babar and Junaid Khan.
