Pakistan, Afghanistan join hands for closer cooperation against war on terror

During a series of talks between Pakistan and Afghanistan, the brotherly countries have underscored the importance of cooperation on war against terror, Radio Pakistan reported. 

In a meeting held in Kabul between Abdur Rauf Ibrahimi, spokesperson for Afghan Wolesi Jirga and Pakistan Ambassador to Afghanistan, Syed Abrar Hussain, the authorities discussed ways to increase media cooperation between the two countries.

The Afghan Minister for Culture and Information, Abdul Bari Jahani was also invited to the talks.

It was during this meeting that Ibrahimi was informed about Pakistan making sincere endeavours for promoting peace and stability in Afghanistan.

The Ambassador further touched upon the fact that a stable and prosperous Afghanistan was not only in the interest of Pakistan but also of the entire region.

He added that Pakistan wanted to promote and expand bilateral cooperation with Afghanistan in all areas of mutual interests.
