Asked if people's outlook towards her has changed ever since she charmed the audiences and critics with Queen and now Tanu Weds Manu Returns, she said, "Other people's opinions do not matter to me... if they did, I wouldn't have lasted till now."

"If I would have been affected, I would be full of irrational doubts. I do have a strong sense of what can be achieved and what cannot," said the B-Town actress.

However, she minced no words when she said that "people's perception towards me is a revelation after Queen".

"People felt I was talented. I was surprised because I thought everyone knew from before that I was talented... with films like Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai, Woh Lamhe, Life in a... Metro, Tanu Weds Manu, Queen... I kept proving myself."

"I thought there was no doubt about my acting abilities. So, the reaction after Queen was a revelation to me," she added.

Kangana, who had earlier bagged a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Fashion, says she wasn't expecting the Best Actress National Award for Queen.
