The unthinkable might happen. Bollywood megastars Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan in one frame would be a delight for any Indian cinema fan but to accommodate such larger-than-life stars in one film has always appeared to be a daunting task for directors. However a report in International Business Times suggests this may not be a far-fetched idea after all.

Kick director Sajid Nadiadwala is apparently working out a project to bring the three Khans together.

"Sajid has decided to produce a film which will star the three Khan superstars. He may even direct the film himself, though that would depend entirely on the nature of the subject. The film will go on the floors in January 2017 and release in December 2017," Indian journalist and film critic Subhash K Jha quoted an insider as saying.

Apparently, the filmmaker is thinking something along the lines of Manmohan Desai's Amar Akbar Anthony, which will provide the Khans with equal screen space.

"This is why he has decided to start shooting the project in 2017. There is ample scope to work out a plot which can accommodate the trio," the source further elaborated.

This collaboration wouldn't have been remotely conceivable had the warring Khans not resolved their personal issues at Salman Khan's sister, Arpita Khan's wedding. SRK and Salman have earlier hugged it out, but it was thought to be one for the cameras, until the Raees actor promoted Bajrangi Bhaijaan on Twitter recently.

SRK has worked with Salman in three films: Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam. Whereas, Aamir starred alongside Salman in Andaz Apna Apna.
