Cooperation: Hungary to invest in Pakistan
Hungary is interested in promoting trade cooperation with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD:
Hungary is interested in promoting trade cooperation with Pakistan, as it is a promising country for business and investment, observed Ambassador of Hungary Istvan Szabo during a meeting at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI).“Bilateral trade of $140 million during 2014 between Pakistan and Hungary does not reflect the true potential,” he said. He added that Hungary was located in the heart of Europe while Pakistan occupied a key location to get easy access to South and Central Asia, Middle East and other regions. “The geostrategic location of both countries offers tremendous scope for win-win outcomes by strengthening cooperation in trade and economic fields.” He said ICCI should send its delegation to Hungary to explore new avenues of mutual cooperation.
