On two occasions, Nawaz Sharif snatched the constitutional rights of AJK assembly members by stopping no-confidence motions against the PPP government in the region.
This was said by opposition leader and PML-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) chief Farooq Haider Khan at a press conference in Central Press Club here on Tuesday.
“Three times, PPP had voted in favour of the non-confidence motion to oust the three prime ministers between 2006 and 2011,” said the AJK PML-N chief.
He said when the PPP led the federal government, they reduced the AJK development budget, while PML-N increased it.
“The federal government has also approved Rs 49 billion for different projects in AJK,” Khan added .
