Collaboration: PR, PSM agree on consumer dealership

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways has become a consumer dealer of Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) after a meeting between PR CEO Javaid Anwar Boobak and PSM CEO Major General (retd) Zaheer Ahmad Khan was held at PR headquarters on Friday. The PSM will soon issue a letter of consumer dealership to the PR in this regard and the PR will be able to purchase necessary items directly from PSM under the consumer dealership instead of the open market. It was decided in the meeting that PR will transport dolomite and limestone to the PSM from Jhimpir and Makli and repair work of railway track would be completed by PSM in two months. It was also decided in the meeting to increase the mutual contact and business cooperation between both departments.
