Amna Ilyas to feature in ‘Dekh Magar Pyar Say’

Model-actor wraps up shoot for a song in the film

KARACHI: Starting off her career as a model, Amna Ilyas has stepped up her game. The dusky beauty, who forayed into acting with Zinda Bhaag, will now be seen in Asadul Haq’s movie Dekh Magar Pyar Se. About her role in the upcoming movie, she revealed, “I just shot a song in Dekh Magar Pyar Se and had a lot of fun while shooting. I am sure people will love it!” About her previous ventures, she said, “Zinda Bhaag and Good Morning Karachi are real close to my heart. It was an amazing experience working with both the teams.  Directors like Sabiha Sumaar, Meenu Gaur and Farjad Nabi are brilliant and it’s an honour for me to work with such great directors.”

Apart from Dekh Magar Pyar Se, the model-turned-actor also shared her other upcoming projects. She said, “Right now I’m working on Driven. I’m also considering one more script which is a love story.”Dekh Magar Pyar Se, rom-com movie that features Sikander Rizvi and Humaima Malick in the lead roles, will also mark the cinematic directorial debut of renowned ad filmmaker, Asadul Haq.

“We are very excited as we have been working on this project for the last one year or so! Dekh Magar Pyar Se will be a true manifestation of our culture and music captured in breathtaking visuals,” stated a press release for the film. “It is expected to hit cinemas sometime in the summer of 2015 with and exact date for the release to be officially announced very soon,” stated Asadul Haq and Ali Murtaza on behalf of Shiny Toy Guns.
