Death penalty: Convict to be hanged on May 23

LAHORE: Muhammad Irfan, a murder convict, is scheduled to be hanged at the Central Jail on May 23. District and Sessions Judge Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed on Wednesday deputed Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Azeem Butt to attest the convict’s last will before his execution. Irfan had been arrested in a murder case registered with the Sanda police in 2002.
